Recently in November 2017, SSC issued a notification for the requirement of Junior Engineer in different departments. SSC JE exam 2017 is conducting for three posts-
1. Civil Engineer
2. Electrical Engineer
3. Mechanical Engineer
SSC JE 2017 Exam Pattern:
SSC junior engineer exam 2017 will be conducted in two stages. The first stage in prelims and after that second stage is known as mains. Mains exam will only conduct for candidates who will qualify prelims exam.
Exam mode for the prelims stage in SSC JE 2017 is online i.e candidates have to take the exam on computer. And the mains exam is a written exam.

Reasoning Ability: No. of Questions- 50 Marks-50
General Awareness: No. of Questions-50 Marks-50
Question-based on Civil or: No. of Questions-100 Marks- 100

Mechanical engineering discipline
The total duration for prelims exam is 2 hours.
SSC JE 2017 Exam Pattern – Mains Round:
Mains exam is paper and pen-based online exam. And this exam will conduct for 300 marks and 2 hours duration.
