Ans. IBPS Clerk recruitment offers the post of Clerk for the candidates.

2. What is the date of the exam?
Ans. The IBPS clerk common written test is generally held in the months of November or December.

3. When will the results be declared?
Ans. The results for IBPS Clerk common written test are generally declared in March-April.

4. How many vacancies will be there?

Ans. There are no fixed vacancies; it depends on the bank participating in the recruitment process each year.

5. What is the mode of examination? Will the exam be conducted in online or offline mode?
Ans. The Common Written Exam for IBPS clerks will be conducted in online mode.

6. Can I appear for the exam with 50% score in graduation?
Ans. Yes, the score doesn’t matter; you just need to be a graduate.

7. What is the age criterion to apply in this common written exam?
Ans. The age criteria to apply for the common written test as on 01-07-2015 are as follows:

Minimum age limit– 20 Years
Maximum age limit- 28 Years

8. What is the educational qualification required for the post of clerk?

Ans. A Degree of graduation in any discipline from a University which is recognised by the Government of India or its equivalent.
Apart from this, the candidate need to have some computer Literacy which involves operating and working knowledge in computer systems i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ and should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
Expertise in the Official Language of the State/ UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

9. What is the application Fee?
Ans. The Application fee is Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates However it is Rs. 600/- for all other candidates.

10. Is relaxation provided to candidates appearing for the exam?
Ans. Yes, category wise relaxation is provided to the candidates appearing for IBPS Clerk exam.

11. What is the pattern of IBPS Clerk exam?
Ans. Owing to the recent changes, the pattern for IBPS clerk exam is different from the year 2015. Now, there will be two levels of examination for the candidates. The two levels include preliminary exam and main exam. Only the candidates passing the preliminary exam will be appearing for the main exam.
